Keep Forgetting

When will we own ourselves completely?
Cuz I don't know about you but...

I keep forgetting to sing.
I keep forgetting to watch the food network.
I keep forgetting to raise my hand.
I keep forgetting to laugh, to yell, to love to... cry.
I keep forgetting to read that poem.
I keep forgetting to be me.
I keep forgetting to write poetry, to dance, to cook, to watch Gossip Girl.
I keep forgetting to forget.
"forget? what the F is this guy talking about?"

To forget about what people do. And just do me.
And I keep forgetting that tonight could be the last time I see the light.
